He used to be an active marathon runner and a competitive cyclist. With that amount of knowledge and experience by your side, any beginner is bound to become a skilled angler by the end of the day. Your journey will start on a 21’ Maverick Master Angler boat that can sit up to 4 anglers. It’s powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine. The boat uses a GPS, state-of-the-art Simrad electronic fish finder, trolling motor, power pole, 2 live bait wells, and casting platform. Lake Ida is known for its freshwater species. You will be targeting three of the most famous ones: Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass, and Clownknife Fish. Using light tackle, you’ll attract them by trolling and jigging. Your captain will provide you with top-of-the-line Shimano reels, Star rods, tackle, and all live bait. Captain will also bring snacks and water for everyone to enjoy. The only thing you need to bring is your valid fishing license. You may also bring your preferred food and drinks and some sun protection.
